Center For Life Transition

The Center for Life Transition (CFLT) was established in 1999 by Scott Bradley, MSW, CT, NCPsyA, with the goal of using innovative and caring treatment to “transform trauma in to resilience.”  The Center was to be a safe place for people to say everything they had experienced, relieve stress from a dramatically changed life, reduce isolation, and gain an understanding of one’s coping style to help foster positive choices.

People who have suffered the death of a loved one, experienced a difficult divorce, been devastated by a job loss, are fighting cancer and other major life changes have benefited from the unique counseling services offered at CFLT.

After 10 years of offering assorted bereavement related services to the families cared for at Bradley & Son Funeral Homes, the Center is proud to announce a free comprehensive bereavement support membership program sponsored by Bradley & Son Funeral Homes.

Center for Life Transition Bereavement Support Membership Program

The caring does not end when the funeral is over. For most, it is only just the beginning of a journey of searching for meaning and trying to adjust to life without their loved one. The Center for Life Transition, as part of Bradley & Son Funeral Homes, has created a safe and caring place to help you, your family, and friends transition through your loss with support and understanding.

We are sensitive to the unique journey each mourner will undergo after the loss of a loved one. Based on our caring experience with thousands of bereaved families, our wide range of support services allows us to assist you at every stage of your journey.

The Center for Life Transition Bereavement Support Membership Program is open to all bereaved families whether or not they have been served by Bradley & Son Funeral Homes and Simple Cremation of NJ, and is free to join.

Support Groups

Sharing with others can be a helpful experience for those who are grieving and adjusting to life after the loss of a loved one. Our groups provide a safe environment where you can begin to understand and deal with your grief. Organized and facilitated by our staff of nationally recognized bereavement experts, the support groups are held year-round on a bi-weekly basis. Groups are typically limited to 7-9 individuals, which enables the group leader to maintain an intimate setting for open discussion during the 90-minute gathering. They are open to all adults and are free of charge.

Individual Counseling

We recognize that many individuals are more comfortable talking through their circumstances in a one-on-one environment. We can help provide the way to a richer, more meaningful, satisfied life through our private counseling. Please call the Center for Life Transition at (973)665-1782 for more information.
